Square seems to be one more and more artists are using. I've not used it myself, but it looks promising.

Another thing you can do is insist on sending out PayPal invoices of payments to customers. This way they are unable to leave comments and possibly out you.

I reccomend Zelle and CashApp if it's available for you. Zelle has no fees and is bank account to bank account, and CashApp has less fees and is cheaper than PayPal when they do charge fees. They also process faster.

I really like zelle, it's incorporated very well into banking apps, but you have to be a part of one of the participating banks i think?
