realism ruining stories/insensitivity of "its just fantasy"?

General
I have noticed a trend where "fantasy" is being replaced by "realism" except when it comes to rps, stories, games, and so on.
Sort of like this:
1. Person 1 and 2 both like kink A.
2. Person 1 only likes a softer version of kink A, or kink Av1, and Person 2 likes Kink Av2, which is darker and closer to what they consider reality.
3. Person 1 expresses that they are uncomfortable with Av2 and gets retaliatoey remarks from Person 2 and their like-minded friends.
4. Person 2 claims "Av1 is unrealistic and you should not care about characters that are not real" despite how Person 1 enjoys immersing themselves in Av1 when time and energy allows, feeling uncomfortable at having to cater to Av2 or be seen as "weak" or "unrealistic" or m or "bullying people who like Av2" because they expressed their own opinion and want to see more ov av1.
5. Av2 has its own unrealistic elements that will never be addressed due to but is more popular and accepted as realistic.
Yes I am talking about the fight between Endosoma and digestion for me. And yes, people who draw digestion may feel pressure from those who don't, which I am sorry about. But I am uncomfortable with digestion at times, and it feels like people look at me weirdly for it.
Another example is how fantasy has to have more and more explained to the point that contradictions are inevitable or until it is scifi.
You can't have magic any more as "fantasy is unrealistic" is an accepted double standard. It has to be alien technology, living in a computer, advanced science, and so on. Maybe I am generalizing though.
I hope I do not sound crazy or lose friends, and may be wording things wrong, but please, can anyone understand me?
I am burnt out doing things I don't like for people that I do, and I feel like they are being dismissive when I express my discomfort, or blow it off as if there is something wrong with me. It probably is not like that, but I feel that way.
But after writing this out, I understand the point of giving up fantasy better
now if I can avoid this drama and attachment. I am the one going out of my way for people I like, and that is my fault.

Some people enjoy something to be realistic, some don't, neither of them has any right to demand from the other side to do something they do not wish to or feel comfortable with, and neither side is right nor wrong. Fantasy is there for fun, that's what it's about, if it's not fun, just don't do it, but don't demand from others they do something they do not enjoy, that has nothing to do with realism or with the debate about endosoma or digestion, it just has to do with being a jerk. If you keep demanding others do something for you they dislike, you are a just a jerk, period. And i would recommend avoiding jerks..
If person A likes it safe, and person B doesn't, they have to respect each others likes, if they don't, they probably should not roleplay that kink as one side will always be unhappy or possibly even upset in the end. You can try to be friends with everyone but that doesn't mean you can always RP with everyone, i'd suggest only doing so with people that share similar kinks, that saves everyone alot of stress and sadness..
I have met people who insisted on digestion and disposal even after I was lead to believe it was going to be safe, and then they keep adding on more layers without reciprocating at all. I could easily of said no. But we both know that is hard and we cannot really say it at times.
Do not let me upset you. Thank you. And night for now ^^
I like things better than in the past, but I just now am letting things go slowly.
I'm not sure how trends work and all but if in a story I can get enjoyment out of the characters and the unique rulesets that they introduce then I'd say it doesn't matter if it abides by the laws of physics or if it realistic. Sometimes all a story needs to do is having intruiging characters and ideas for the world and plot.
There sure can be people who go with their "what's all wrong with..." counters and really, no matter if in movies, games, etc., it doesn't need to be made fun of all the time.
You are free to like your personal versions of a subject and you shouldn't have to feel like you'd need to change yourself because of others not leaving you alone with it. Everybody is equal and as long as they explain their and respect others' opinions then everybody gets to enjoy things together still. =3
So I am lost.
And I worry about writing a book that will just get ignored on arbitrary youtubers or "intellectuals" regardlessof my writing skill. I don't have a high opinion of my writing ability,
But don't let me worry you, I have very abstract worries, and that is probably how I tricked myself into not writing. X3 don't let my thoughts ruin yours. Do not think about these things and do not become like me, as you are nice *hugs*
Didn't mean that anyone is attacking you. Just said that you shouldn't feel like you'd need to change your tastes just to please others. And I think the most important for doing something should be your personal enjoyment still. Even if some people might not always voice it, just by staying true to yourself in what you do you'll surely make somebody somewhere happy, too. X3
I myself am the kind who embraces the pure fun in things. I love to go by rules that aren't realistic because of how we can use characters that are in themselves usually not present in our world, we can just also go by the rules that make such worlds unique with them.
I usually take what others think of in all sorts of ways and imagine how and in what circumstances even somebody like my Totodile mascot Shiny could enjoy.
The Vore stuff for example gets then paired with like the predator becoming a living plushie or pooltoy who can do its thing without putting the lil fella to harm because he's basically just inside a plushy sleeping bag or can look out of the tummy going for a silly ride inside the toy until he can climb back out.
I always love unusual and over the top things that result in making one giggle and smile when taking in the uniqueness of the situation. It's nice to find concepts and seeing them play out in their fantastic way. Because imagination and letting it run free is always a great joy. ^_^
