A New Project - Japanese-style Garden
General
The cold weather is finally dead here in Albuquerque which means time for yard work! Broke ground this weekend on my to-be Japanese / zen / meditation garden in my back yard.
I've been looking forward to doing this for a couple years now. I'll likely be working on it through summer. Am very excited/driven and getting lots of ideas in my head for its design including ponds, bamboo divides, meditation areas, and planters.
Those following me on Twitter have probably seen pics of my corn field from the past couple years. That's where the garden will be, but it will be expanded to take over the whole 21 x 14 foot area (corn field was only 14 x 14).
As I'm a bit overweight from the winter I'm looking forward to the exercise and work. Will likely post some pics on Twitter as it progresses.

It is, but fun work! I just have to temper the work as too much will re-aggravate my spinal stenosis.
