I'd be down with doing some badass heroism with Stormy. Agree with the sentiments above - it's fun to see heroines in peril now and then, but you'd think we'd be at least SOMEWHAT effective. :)

I very much agree with this idea x3 Though i have, yet to implement it to much in my own efforts, ive been meaning to. As much fun as it is to see them all captured and 'roughed up' as Purity says there has to be some wins in there right? unless its all one twisted mental disillusion brought on by some even bigger force in the world.... *coughs* but anyway, i support you wanting to branch out and start giving Stormwave a bit more of a name and story behind her!

Well, she DOES have a story. But I wanna focus on it more and less on just the porn. I feel like I let that get away, between my own things I enjoyed and the commissions I am working on. I'll finish those and figure it all out

Despite my current serial with Purity, I am working on some character building with my heroines. Even though I mostly do peril render, I do feel like they need a chance to shine. So once this arc is over, I will be moving on to more heroic stories.

So in case you want to use MaelStrom, WonderMare, Tigara or Shadow-Fox, please let me know. I would love to have them work with you.

I don't know, call me crazy (or kinky) or still young to the genre, but I don't see why you can't have your cake and eat it on this one if you want to. I've had this conversation with my sometimes better half after he decided to pull back from the porn and want to focus on the more traditional formula right before his slump. The one thing I have noticed is that these stories all follow the same pattern.

Villain causes trouble >
The heroes appear for a conflict that ends in some form of a villain retreat or the hero captured>
Then a little break to give more plot and reveal the villains intentions>
Final confrontation with the Heroes eventual triumph.

I know I am breaking it down very simply because I don't want to bore people with a wall of text bigger than need be. The short version is it just really depends on where the story is cut. When people do the porn (myself included guilty as charged and not ashamed of it ) they like to focus on the capture in part two in the formula and end it there. Nothing says it has to be just that though, it can still have the full out formula with the character development while in the other parts or even while getting some of the lewd in during captivity.

I wouldn't mind loaning a character or 2 from my own roster in a cameo if you see any that interest you. just ask and lets chat it up

Oh, as I said, I don't intend on tossing the baby out with the bathwater here! I'll still be doing some porn and cheesecake aspects, but I just don't want that to be my only goal, ya know? I felt I had focused a bit too much on kinks, plus I was in a... Strange mindset last night, which may have contributed to ll of this. I will definitely be doing peril and kink at times!
