The curse of alt-itis! Just seems to be an eventuality that you'll have to make a hole to put the more risque pieces when you get enough eyes.

It's kinda sad that people don't accept an artists choice to simply post something more controversial for whatever reason.
No one forces the watching masses to look at everything and it's really sad that people feel like they need to give someone shit for drawing stuff they don't care for.

If FA had a tag blacklist system I might be a little less sympathetic, but I understand not everyone is as desensitized as I am, and it's just kind of nice to be considerate.

Obviously it's nice to be considerate. Yet to me it's just rude to shower someone in displeased comments rather than simply hitting the little checkbox, pressing pos1 and clicking "remove checked".
It's not that hard as people make it to be.

Fair enough. I certainly don't think I need to know if someone disapproves of what I do. I also don't begrudge them for leaving if that's the case.

It's really kinda sad though that people can't just click the back button and not complain about thumbnails when everybody knows FA's thumbnail system has been broken for years. They'd just prefer that artists never post things they don't approve of even though an artist may like said thing. If ya do end up making a secondary account, I'd love to know what it is. That way I can see all of your content, not just the 'safe' stuff.

It's probably not going to happen for a while since I'd have nothing to put on it. But I'll certainly announce it in a journal.

Alrighty, I'll keep an eye out for it. As for something to make/post, maybe a fully turned alt like ya did with the stone one? Definitely gotta say though regardless of if ya decide to do an alt, yer style made it one of the cutest pics I've seen related to that theme. ^_^

I will be totally honest here, I opened it out of curiosity when I couldn’t make out what was going on from the thumbnail. Once realising I did consider unwatching as personally it’s just not what I want to see and FA lacks blacklists. I wasn’t going to make a big song and dance about it of course, it’s your gallery and your right to post what ever content that makes you happy and no one has any right to criticise you for it.

I did take the time though to go back through your gallery and realised I like most of the content you post, and you’re definitely an artist I want to see get better. Good out weighing the unpreferred and all that.

Again though, it is your gallery and you do what ever makes you happy, just understand not everyone will stick around if it’s not up their alley. You do you.

That's perfectly fine. I'm honestly sympathetic to seeing stuff that you don't want to from an artist you like, so I think that it's not really that big of a deal to have a secondary account for stuff that people that watch me might not enjoy. If the thumbnail system worked that would be ideal, but as it doesn't I have no way of providing a content warning and regardless of what I do or don't like, that's kind of an issue.

I will admit that when I first saw it, I was saying stuff like "surely this isn't what I think it is," and then I figured out it was. At that point, I did what I think everyone should do when they see something they don't like: remove it from your submissions list and go politely about your day. It's not my cup of tea, but that doesn't mean that it can't be yours. I will say that if you started posting that far more frequently than anything else, I'd probably stop watching you because I don't want to see that every day. But, every once in a while, hidden between all the other great stuff you've posted so far? I can just ignore them as they pass through. At the end of the day, it's your page, so do what YOU want to do. If people got a problem with it, they know where the door is.

it's just one of those things, some people are incapable of keeping their distaste to themselves when they see something they dont like, especially if they feel like "i should have had better warning about this before i clicked!!" people care about and overreact to things that just dont matter,

i clicked onto that pic by mistake as well and just rapidly back-clicked, that's it. i may not like the subject matter but im the kinda guy who realizes that art and visual media is completely ruled by opinions, the same could be said for the popularity/unpopularity of certain kinks. i am into some messed-up stuff myself but it doesnt make it any better or worse than something you're into just because its different.

to each his own, thats all there is to it! especially when most people on this site need to realize just how messed-up regular furry porn would look like to a non-furry "normal" person, i swear every time i gotta try to explain standard furry stuff or furry porn to a normie it always turns into a really uncomfortable awkward conversation about "isnt it basically bestiality??"

anyways, a linked alt-account for stuff like that might be your best bet in appeasing the discontented people, it'll never be a certainty that you wont get negative comments regardless, because there will always be people who hate certain subjects enough to chase after you for it, which is where the account blocker comes in for the particularly nasty people. (i had to block some guy once for giving me hate comments on a simple TFTG pic i commissioned, he wouldnt go away when i blocked his comments, so i blocked his account)
