Start of the year was a bit rough money wise and I'm currently facing the biggest art block I've ever had... which is only the second in my entire life and it's... confusing... and frustrating... as I really want to create things... anything... something... And to tell the stories still running though my mind.
This is probably related to the fact that I totally lost sef-confidence and self-esteem concerning my ideas and writings those past 5 months.
Anyway, I'm REALLY trying to kick my ass to fight against this situation, so, to all of those who are still sticking around, thank you deeply for your patience, love and support. <3
I also have a few questions :
- Would you be interested on asking Cérès' characters ? (in addition to Naï's asks ?)
- Do you think that we should totally rework on our Patreon (rewards, presentation, etc) ? Feel free to tell us how and why.
- Would any of you be interested on Pokemon comics ?
- For those who ever heard about the TV show WAKFU : do you know some artists with similar art style ?

Here I'm mostly known as a writer and a world character conceptor ^^'
1. as for Pokemon comic I want to say yes but not if that puts more pressure on you
2. I can't say for Patreon as I don't have enough money to do everybody's
3. I mean I guess I could ask some characters assuming it's for free (No money again)
4. I don't know that t.v. show.
1-No way, I promess. As it's just something I'd love to do since we've started a pokemon roleplay with some closed friends.
2- Fair enough ;) But maybe you've seen interesting offers on other patreons which should be good source of inspiration ?
3- No money implied here, it would be just for fun and give readers the opportunity to learn more about the characters they like :)
4- Then you should watch it someday as it's a really good one ! (And a good French one for once ! Even if there is an English version available on Netflix ^^ )
I have found out myself, that when I get burnout for certain topics/projects, it's better to let it cool down a little bit. If I keep trying to push, I end up rushing or not doing the best I can. ^^; But it might be just me!
I'd love to see what you can come up with the Pokemon comic! And think it would be great way for you to get over art block~
Yes, I was starting to think that I should try something new while making my mind about the Patreon and détails about the comics' scripts. See if I can change a few things, rework on the stories' parts or even on the characters. But, not all at the same time and after a real break from Cérès. Because the more I try to do Something with it the more it bugs me and makes me feel like I can't tell anything good about this world anymore... Which is... very sad as I still love it and all the characters from it ^^'
So yeah, I understand what you mean by not pushing to hard on topics or projects when you don't feel like working on it.
It already does as I have a whole timeline ready for this pokemon comic, plus character designs, stories, 7 script pages ready and even letters written by one of the characters. (All this thanks to Flutter and with his help <3 )
I REALLY want to do something with it ! But my friend and Illustrator for this comic finds it hard to work on the pages as fast as I do. XD
I can't finish one story that already another pops up in my mind. And this is not really good, because I'll never finish stuff in this way ^^;
Maybe you should try to focus on some older stories from time to time and between two new fresh writings ?
