You think I'm happy about it? No. Like the two major political parties, it's two bowls of sh*t. The internet, for all of its supposed power, utterly SUCKS at making a statement that's long lasting. They always give temporary middle fingers, but when it comes to a permanent solution, we STILL have none. I mean, they attempted GAB when Twitter started inheriting the worst of Tumblr, but GAB never took off like they claimed it would. Every time we try to get a competitor to the corporate controlled majority, it never matches up. So if I'm stuck between two bowls of sh*t, I'm going to pick the one that's not actively scheming against its own users and trying to control the narrative. If Bezos actually starts pulling sh*t like that, I will definitely be very vocal about it. But of the two titans, only YouTube is pulling underhanded shady sh*t, and I definitely don't want to support that.
