Yeah. One artist got accused of drawing a sexual act to a child character (they weren't, the hands were teasing, but not sexually). Another got accused of drawing underage in sexual positions. This was wrong because the characters were 18+ So yeah, artist's drawing on different sides of the line got reported to the admins for things they didn't do. Trying to throw babyfur and adult diaperfur together into one label was foolish.

Yeah, it's been suggested before, but for some reason it's never been considered. They feel one label is good enough, but in accepting that, they make things tense for everyone involved, because right now, what this means is, if you post art as babyfur, you need to COMMIT your account either to babies/kids/teens, or to adults, or else you run the risk of having the characters mistaken as something they're not. I usually tend to avoid artists who don't make very good distinctions atm for that reason. And since I'm trying to move away from the sexual stuff, I tend to go for younger characters in non-adult situations myself.

worse thing is that it won't. unfortanelly there's no other site that offers what FA does. most of other furry art sites exists with the label: we're not FA".

Other sites do exist out there, and like it or not, if it gets too hostile to babyfurs, they're going to adapt. I mean, some will leave the babyfur fandom because they're spineless, and some will stay on FA because they care more about "keeping things the same as much as possible", but the rest will see the signs and move elsewhere.

Well they need to. I get especially tired of artists who post "abdl" and "babyfur" in the same custom tags. Like, no, that's dumb. You can't have a babyfur character who is ALSO AB at the exact same time. That makes zero sense.

I'm pretty sure people have been asking for this for over 10 years already. I'd say it's about damn time, but the world hates us and we can't have nice things.

But what's this about people reporting "babyfur" art based on category? I haven't heard of that.

Okay so apparently, admins can't tell the difference between sexual groping and "diaper checks". One of the most recent issues.

Ah. I see. An issue I cleverly sidestep by just not allowing people to commission me to draw underage (or seemingly underage) characters in general.

But I feel sorry for people who like that kind of thing for innocent reasons. If you want my opinion, I think there needs to be moderators that understand the communities hosted here, so that this kind of thing doesn't happen. But, because it's not well-understood, the moderators can do this and because they're moderators, they get away with it.

It's a good thing that I removed all of the old art that I did that featured an underage character. I had them before because I didn't really understand the possibility that someone could enjoy them for the wrong reasons, but now that I'm a lot more aware, I decided it's best to remove them. And a couple (due to my previous lack of art skills) did have some unintended implications that probably could have gotten me reported.

I agree with the way you handled things. That's why I'm removing adult diaper work and only favoriting babyfur/kidfur stuff now, to keep a consecutive theme to my channel so that when people look through my profile and faves they're like, "Oh they don't have any adults/sexy time stuff in their work, so it's more on the therapeutic/cute side!" So yeah, I would recommend people pick a side of the babyfur/diaperfur aisle and stick with it at this point until FA gets their shit together.

I mean, with favorites in general, I'm more of a private person... so I have all my favorites set to "general only." For ages, I've just never left favorites for art that I actually like because I felt like... creeped out about telling everyone what I liked. But now I guess my favorites that are publicly visible are just like, "Here's some neat stuff I found and hope you like." Usually because it's impressive on a technical level, or it's a good joke or something.
