Daily is too much...

Obviously, I didn’t get a comic out yesterday… None will be coming tonight, either. I don’t know when or if any more will come. I just can’t do manage to do it every day. I was burned out almost immediately after starting, and that’s finally caught up with me. I’m astonished I managed a month’s worth, to be honest. I just don’t have the fortitude for this.
Look at it this way, every bit of drawing you do regardless of when or how much is a step further in the direction of improvement. dialing back how busy you are until you find a comfortable balance is important, not just for drawing but other aspects of life too. (healthy life balance is subjective, mess around with it until you find something that works, you might surprise yourself!)
You probably are aware of this, but those artists that seem to post comic updates constantly, can because that works for them at the time & they've conditioned themselves to it, maybe what works for you isn't up to that level yet and it'll take practice to condition yourself to a level that you would deem similar, it's not a bad thing you're not there yet. Everything is a learning experience.
Sometimes as content producers, regardless of skill or experience we find our ability to keep up with our own 'creative expectations' waning when we exhaust what we have 'in reserve' at the time, what you are experiencing is called 'artists block' and is a form of creative burnout. Don't fret! it will pass, you just need to take it easy.
burnout and art block can be overcome in time & with practice, you'll get there. Don't doubt yourself. You're doing great!
It may seem like i am being patronizing but look at it with this in mind; "i may be giving you the sticks, but you're the one doing the survival'
keep it cool calm and collected, you'll be back at it in no time!
as always, if ya need anything you know how to reach me.
