A slightly modest and shy confession, thingy (thing)

Even as I write this I feel my shoulders stiff and my blood clot.
But anywho, yeah, I guess I'm on FA now.
I've known and lurked around this site for, what, a year now? But I never made an account because I never wanted to connected with being a furry.
Later on I met some awesome people who were furries, I later got a Dragon Sona, and then it became harder and harder to deny it.
Then I decided it was time to seal the deal and make an FA from the shadows no longer: a scaled tail extrudes my rear!
Yeah... I guess I'm a furry now. And it feels, strange.
I'm sure I'm not the only one who accepted this change when they first came to this fandom, but man 2 years ago I would have never thought that I would be one of those people.
So hopefully things will work out and I'll meet some great people, just might take a while as I'm still nervous.

I can feel his presence with me day from day, standing by my side, giving me strength when one else would.
Dragonkind meddles with my sleep often too, but I enjoy their company, just like I enjoy yours now.
Thx Kazy, I'm happy to bond with some people already on this site, even if it's only the sharing of a few words.
I don't think you should be apprehensive about being connected to furries (or scalies, heh). It's true that there's a certain stigma surrounding the community, and while there are some disagreeable individuals, on the inside I've found that the community has a lot of wholesome things to offer. Personally I've had many wonderful interactions here, and I hope you do too.
Also I'm lowkey jealous about your sona :P The artwork is quite nice.
As for Draken, yeah her art is very nice and it took quite a while to finish that piece, but I'm very happy with how it came out.
Is it just the art your jealous of or something else?
I'm quite happy with the end product, even if it has some strange oddities I noticed a bit too late, like the 2-elbowed wing arms.
When making him I pretty much wanted a standard good-ol' fashioned feral dragon, but he ended up getting his own unique design to help him stand out.
As for the character, he's got an entire backstory that he only got recently, this art was done like 3/4 a year ago and he didn't "awaken" in me until recently.
I'm planning to have this sheet edited later on, I'll bring it up to date than to include all his new stuff and new personality.
Draken is happy he is real.
There is some stigma surrounding the community but there are some truly amazing people on here. I do hope you'll stick around.
