Sounds more like fibromyalgia than narcolepsy. *hugs*

I actually have fibromyalgia that's what made me wonder. *hugs* I also have mild sleep aponea but it gets complicated with sinus issues at night and I can't use the mask. If I control the sinus issues the aleep aponea is less of an issue. *hugs*

I'm tired pretty much 24/7 and I have a bit of the same symptoms. I nod off all the time (even in public), and I have the knee buckling and dropping things. Hell I have rings so badly around my eyes I might as well be a raccoon. I haven't done any research into narcolepsy nor have I been checked out for it. I've always chalked it up to being Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, however, doctor's don't like diagnosing that and instead will find something else to diagnose you with (they said I had sleep apnea... but I never fell asleep during the sleep tests and claimed I stopped breathing through the night, so I know they were a bit full of it since that never happened... machine also did nothing.)

Also, this doesn't sound like it has anything to do with fibromyalgia... at least not quite yet.

It might be what you have too.
It’s frustrating when doctors do that. I am going to my first ever psychiatrist appointment tomorrow.... it am scared of just being blown off.

never had it, but I do fall asleep easily enough - and my tiredness is only a symptom of being old...
