Cat food problems

Not an exciting journal at all, i am here to see if i can gather advices.
Don't read if you don't really like mention of stomach sickness and all
See, my gf took her family's cat to live with us. He is an handsome old man of 16.
Of course with old age comes problems, it has been going for a year a more now, and i though i could solve it but turns out that i can't.
So this old kitty has some tummy troubles, been puking almost every morning. We put him on a feeding schedule with controled doses to see if it would help. And it actually did for a month! Upgraded his food too to things healthier (which is not hard he's been eating trash all his life)! And then it went back down to hell again. If not worse somehow.
He also decided that he didnt like middle priced food anymore ( He really hates Sheba )
We did take him to the vet, lost almost all our food budget for the month because of it. No verdict, Stomach doesnt have any infections, Blood test as normal as can be. Did have to get some medicine for his mouth, because all that puking didnt really do any good to it.
So we don't really know what to do. We did buy him so dry food for cat with digestive problems ( Brit Care ) but 1) He doesnt fancy dry food much 2) He ets it too fast and regurgitate it before it heven has a chance to reach his stomach.
I'd like to know if any of you has to deal with a cat that also has a sensible tummy and a regurgitation / Puking problem. How do you deal with it? Any food in particuliar to recommend? ( We have a tiny budget so best price to quality / quantity ratio would be appreciated ;; )
The vet did not recommend us anything, and the only food that comes up on google are dry food, which i'd rather avoid if possible.
( Also yes we do plan on going back to the vet later if we can't control the situation again )
At this point i'm ready to try anything. Having to get up at 3am to clean up puke is not ideal, and our old white wooded floor is not happy either. But mostly i don't want this old cat to spend the rest of his old life like this.
Ca demande plus de temps, mais si on s'y prend bien, le budget est généralement le même. Beaucoup de supermarchés vendent des barquettes de viande pour animaux, entre 1 et 4€ le kilo. Pour le poisson, les sardines et les maquereaux tournent généralement à 3-5€ le kilo.
Tu peux te renseigner dans des groupes de BARF sur facebook, y en a pas mal.
Je m'étais renseigner très rapidement sur la nourriture à faire sois-même, mais les recettes que j'avais vu demandait beaucoup de complément alimentaire - Taurine / poussière d'os pars exemple - et je ne sais pas trop ou trouver ça.
Je pensais que les sardines c'était pas recommander pour les chats au passage? A cause d'arrêtes et trop d'huile pour pas assez d'apport nutritif ? :o
Concernant les arrêtes, ca peut dépendre de ton chat...
Mais honnêtement, je m'y connais surtout en alimentation canine, il vaut donc mieux voir ca avec des personnes mieux renseignées sur les spécificités félines. Dans tous les cas, l'alimentation industrielle est à éviter autant que possible! Évidemment, ton chat va tirer la gueule au début, mais c'est comme laisser à un enfant le choix entre un McDonald et une poêlée de légumes.....

Je pourrai pas trop aider, mais d'expérience mon chat a l'estomac quand même vachement fragile, dès qu'il sort de ses habitudes alimentaires il se met à vomir partout... Mais il a été élevé aux croquettes (donc du sec), et du coup il ne mange que ça. Genre même du jus du thon ou des conneries comme ça dès qu'il abuse un peu (càd qu'il peut même pas boire un fond de bol) c'est fini.
Du coup, je dirais croquettes... Mais c'est issu d'une seule exp perso donc pas très percutant : /

Ces chats, sont mignon mais quel casse-tête parfois! Au début je voulais faire pareil, passer à une alimentation croquettes - il a était élevé à la pâté - mais il les mange top vite, du coup BAM une autre raison de vomir :c Mais la plupart des réponses / recherche me disent que les croquettes ou au mieux, du frais fait maison c'est la meilleure solution, du coup je vais essayer de persévérer sur cette voie!
