People on YT aren't always experts, an AM rifle is for hard targets, a DMR isn't a "sniper rifle" either, it's a similar role to a fixed MG and is intended to harrass enemy troops, an actual sniper rifle is intended for going on long expeditions to find one particular, unlucky bastard (usually an officer or someone else important) and taking them down.

A PSG-1 is a sniper rifle and it prioritizes accuracy, an M-107 is an AM rifle and prioritizes sheer force, and an SVD is a DMR, AKA decent capacity and enough accuracy to deal with harrassing grunts.
