Honestly, I've seen it and it's kinda edgelordy and I really hate that it's being compared to Zootopia. It has about as much in common with Zootopia as Land of the Lustrous has with Steven Universe.

Yeah and "Lone Digger" was likened to "a dark Zootopia" and "Lone Digger" came first. You have a society of "furries" where prey and predator live together. Predators are outnumbered. At this point, you could stop comparing "Beastars" and "Lone Digger" to Zootopia and no one would see any difference. The comparison stands. No one was at all expecting a bastardization of Zootopia.

Having a similar setting and characters motif does not invalidate the overall comparison. I have yet to read "Beastars" so I have no opinion beyond what you can get from a few panels. As for "Land of the Lustrous" and Steven Universe. I don't have cable (Internet or cable. Pick one) and I never read "Land of the Lustrous" so again, I have no opinion.

Finally, Zootopia is Zootopia. Stop acting like or putting on airs that somehow anything that comes close to Zootopia is endangering its integrity, artistic, aesthetic, or intellectual.

Uh... I didn't? And how did you read that as me saying vague similarity invalidates comparison? I said they have very little in common, which is true.

And as for the other comparison I made, the thing is people compare the two despite the fact that they're jack shit alike outside of characters who are humanoid rocks.

The mangaka did make a manga series before Beastars called Beast Complex. Story wise, it's pretty much the same as Beastars, 'cept each chapter focuses on a different set of characters. She even mentioned at the end of the last chapter of Beast Complex that Disney released Zootopia (Though not outright saying who and what) around the time Beastars was being created, so it was really awkward.
