Ladies and gentlemen, take my advice...
I've been lurking about. Been through some rough times in the last year. It seems the same every year since my move to Florida. I know things will get better with time, but it's bothering me that the last few times I thought I'd seen the light at the end of the tunnel, it turned out to be a train I've narrowing avoided.
At least pay at work is finally to where I don't have to work 50+ hours a week just to pay the bills. Now I just need time to rest, try dating again and draw. Not specifically in that order.
Played through Breath of the Wild. Koroks are everywhere.

Goods aren't so bad. It's the cost of just housing that's absurd.

Goods not necessarily, but housing and things that aren't thought of as cost of living... Car insurance is ~15% higher living in Orlando than in the surrounding areas due to more tourists and more uninsured/underinsured accidents (rental cars with minimum coverage).

Car insurance is the other thing killing me. Rent is a cost, even if most don't see it that way. Just getting it was the hardest part about buying my car.
