Personally I’d love to see more of how you did the sort of tendril-whisker things on Salazzle’s back; I didn’t know you could do that with paper mâché and it looks super cool!

As for requests... I would absolutely flip if you could do Reshiram with the flowy head-crest and all. But if that’s too time-consuming, maybe starter Pokémon?

Salazzle's tendrils wouldn't make for very interesting process pics, I don't think? But I started with strips of thin cardboard (from a cereal box or something similar, I forget lol), wrapped them with pasted paper, and left them to dry between two small cans so they hardened in a roughly wavy shape. The tendrils got 2 or 3 more layers of pasted paper, which partially softened them each time. As I left them to dry after each layer, I kept tweaking the wavy angles until they looked right. The finished tendrils flex under a gentle touch, which is a neat feature when handling Salazzle, but they'd bend irreversibly under any serious force because the only real structure is processed wood fibre. If I ever make another Salazzle, I'll probably use wire as a tendril base instead of cardboard, for better strength!

Ooh, I'll definitely have to make some starters! And I'll consider the logistics of Reshiram -- it really would be a cool-looking finished piece! :D
