As someone who is a lifelong Godzilla fan, someone who loved the Legendary Godzilla franchise's first film, and someone who loves the classic Kaiju of Toho...HNNNNGH. I need iiiit.

My problems with the first Legendary one were just the fact that it wasn't a traditional Godzilla movie. It was more focused on the person-on-the-ground aspect, and was being played as a disaster film. The older movies, even the first one, always had lots of elements with the human side of things, true, but Godzilla also got plenty of screen time to do his thing. I can forgive that, though, if only because the new one seems to be pulling out all the stops.

I am super excited to see new Kaiju, though I wish Anguirus could've made it in.

Some poor critter who isn't anywhere on the same level as the big boys. I mean, it seems like Kumonga's gonna be in there, at least.

They have a new Kaiju that seems to be filling that gap, somewhat, but they haven't officially announced any Anguirus, which is really sad for me. He's my favorite Kaiju, after all.
