And then there was BLFC! (And other lupine antics)

Yup, making it to BLFC in Reno again! I will not have a dealer's table, like last year this is a "vacation convention" since my birthday is on the Monday of the con and because after the last two weeks I *need* a vacation!
Around the end of March I received a jury summons: for those of you not familiar with this, the legal system in each state summonses random individuals to stand as jurors. You get to go to the county courthouse, they divide you up and send you to the various courts, and then the lawyers for that case go through a process called "voire-dire" where they ask everyone questions and then decide which people will be on the jury. I got to be one of the lucky 12. I spent 3 days listening to the rather horrific details of a sexual assault case on a child, and then spent a day arguing/discussing with my fellow jurors the merits of the evidence (the defendant went to prison for a long, long time). Almost immediately thereafter (and as I post this), I got a really nasty springtime cold - sore throat, runny nose, runny eyes, coughing until you puke, that kinda thing. The only upside, as seen by regular stream viewers, was that for a little while I kinda sounded like Barry White.

I hope this BLFC we can find each other and draw some hyena boobs. =3= The con's gotten so big, I somehow missed you and all of Ken's crew completely last year.
As for the rest-- major oof. :< It's a good thing you did your part to make sure that monster couldn't hurt anyone again. I'm definitely commiserating with you on the illness front, although it seems to finally be clearing up! I'll have to remember to pop into your streams again, soon! ^_^
