QUICK NOTES

- I... honestly don't consider myself a furry. I just have furry-related hobbies.


ABOUT ME / ACCOUNT HISTORY

I don't really consider myself a furry. I like all costumes, and I happened to get sucked into fursuits for a time as a subgenre of cosplay.

My original FA account ( Bornes ) started when I was in the US Navy in Japan. I had many friends who would costume with me and on these trips was always one dedicated photographer person. Things went great, I gained a lot of popularity here (imo, anyway), and I was very proud of the stuff I chose to share with everyone on FA. Even made some videos, too. I had lots of fun.

Something happened that changed my life very unexpectedly in August 2012 and I was discharged from the US Navy (Honorably). I was expecting to be a lifer so I was not prepared. I moved to New York with some family and suffered a lot of financial issues, resulting in selling many of my suits. My account became inactive during this time.

Due to some bad situations/events in early 2013, I moved out of NY and was basically couch surfing for a while in Georgia. I had a major surgery in Florida, and finally I ended up moving to Hawaii in late October 2013. While going to university in Hawaii, I got involved with some local fur groups and the Bornes account was decently active from 2014 - 2015. In 2015, I also created FursuitReview and http://fursuitreview.com !
I ended up moving from Hawaii in December 2016 after graduation.


I bought a house in Upstate New York in late February 2017, but it was in super bad condition and I had to spend a lot of time renovating it myself so it would become liveable. As a result, the account got pretty dead again. I moved into the house in May 2017 but work remains everlasting.

I'm pretty much a hermit at this point, as I live in a very small town in Upstate NY on a limited income. All my bills are paid and I'm not in any debt (the house is paid off too) so that's all I can really ask for. Unfortunately, I don't see my account activity changing much. If anything it will become progressively more dead as the years go on. But I do still check the site periodically and rarely still buy art through here.

In 2021, I forfeited ownership and all decisions regarding fursuitreview.com to someone else. The website just got too big/busy for me to handle. Sorry. Thank you to the few people who helped me with it- be it with volunteering, donations, or advice.

I know many personal details here are vague, but that's because I wanted to tell the most in the smallest amount of words, trying to leave it as emotionless as possible. I don't like putting my personal life out there for everyone to see. xD
