*sigh*...
So I just encountered the second person in over 3000 who has expressed dissatisfaction with my pre-determined 'thank you' shouts for watches.
As such, I'm just going to explain this here once and for all.
The way I see it, there are 3 options;
1. Use a pre-determined message that expresses my genuine gratitude in an equal and timely manner to all.
2. Somehow come up with thousands of different ways to say 'thank you', that are also unique enough not to trigger these people.
3. Say nothing at all and come across as completely ungrateful.
As far as I am concerned, only one of those is possible/acceptable to me.
So please - try to put yourself in my shoes before you get your panties in a twist and attempt to start drama over nothing.
All that being said, I am curious to know what people think on the subject in general, so feel free to share your opinion below - though let's keep it as calm and drama-free as possible! :P
(also this is NOT a political issue, so keep that shit to yourself - I will remove anything political immediately, regardless of alignment.)
Just felt a need to address this, because I am genuinely grateful for every watch and fave - as expressed in my last 'Thank you' journal, and the last thing I want is to offend people in my attempts to show that.

It riles me up pretty hard, personally. I just insta delete it and move on. Lets take popufurs as an example...
You think they genuinely are saying the same copy pasted message for the fun of it, 100+ times a week?
Its disingenuous, and honestly insulting. Buts thats just a succubus' two cents. :3
No, but it doesn't automatically mean they are being disengenuous either - nor does it mean everyone operates under the same mindset as a 'popufur' does to begin with.
Take a shopkeeper for example - is it automatically disengenuous for them to say "thank you" to every customer, just because it's always the same two words? I feel more like people just can't resist starting drama over the smallest of things...
I mean, just take a minute to consider the logistics of coming up with literally thousands of different ways to say the same thing - it's practically impossible.
And you can't just throw in a different word here and there, that's really no different at all.
Eventually you will have to repeat yourself, and someone may see that you left a different message to them as to someone else, which sounded better to them and therefore makes them feel you think less of them anyway.
My shouts have always been purely about saying thank you...but I guess it's just impossible to please everyone :(
And maybe I'm weird, but I do read the profiles of people who do toss me a watch.. so the only ones I don't thank are the ones who request not to be. However, I do know a lot of people don't read profiles and so those wishes go ignored.. but hey..
