There, I said it! SvTFOE is having a much better final season that GOT. The storylines even have some remarkable parallels--there are battling queens, a character reversal, betrayal, death, a kingdom invaded, a one-sided battle, and a culmination of various years-long storylines.

The biggest one? Starco! See the clip below. i'm not a huge shipper, but i was definitely rooting for this one. Plus I think it's telling that two animated teen-agers had a more honest and 'adult' conversation about their relationship than any of the so-called 'adults' on GOT had in years.

It's not that GOT has been bad this season, but it has stumbled a bit in wrapping up various plotlines. SVTFOE's last season has also had its fair share of stumbles, but seems to have had a lot more hits than misses.

EDIT: Also, this is one of the best romantic confession scenes I've seen. Its quirky and funny, but at the same time comes off as completely sincere and emotional. Bravo to the show's creators for pulling it off so well.
