These past couple of months have been interesting for me. My classes picked up in intensity, and some poor mental decisions led me to develop a rather toxic relationship with my art that I'm only now getting out of.
It's been quite the journey, and ultimately, I believe it;s a helpful one. It's not quite over yet, but already, I feel like I've learned a lot about how and why I draw, and what I can do to make it as enjoyable a process as it can be. These next few weeks especially will determine how well these lessons take hold. Now that school's out, I hope to complete a drawing nearly every day where I can help it. But I'm going to prioritize developing a healthy mindset about it over everything else.
