Well, like I said in my post below, we would probably have to set up matches on a messenger since I'm not on regularly. And I'm fine with some lag, just as long as the game is still playable. Besides, even with the highest possible connection status (I've had it before), there's still almost always a bit of lag when playing online.

Sure, but like my comment says, you'll likely never see me on there unless we arrange a match through an instant messenger or something. I don't really play the game regularly anymore unless invited to do so. Also, since switching internet providers about a year ago, I don't think I've tested that particular game to see how well it runs with the slower internet I now have from before.
