About Commissions...
Alright, I've gotten a few inquiries about taking commissions and requests, so I believe my position bears a little explanation.
My situation is this: I'm still fairly new to FA as a fetish artist-- though, I do seem to be developing a bit of a following, for which I'm really extremely grateful. ^^ However... I also have a life and an artistic practice outside of my interest in TF, and I'm really not keen on mixing the two. You might call me a little paranoid, and that's probably completely justified, but I'm extremely uncomfortable with the prospect of anyone outside a core of close trusted friends knowing my actual identity. I've been researching methods for accepting money for commissions, and unfortunately, it really doesn't seem like there's any easy way for me to do it while retaining a level of anonymity and separation between my two art practices that would make me comfortable. I know most artists here use PayPal. I've already got a personal account there, and I've looked into what it would take to set up a business account, and they each have their own problems in the context of making money off of my fetish art. So, as much as I want to accept commissions, I really can't-- at least, until I figure out some way to do it that allows me to remain relatively comfortable.
As far as requests are concerned, I admit, I'm really not terribly enthusiastic about the prospect of doing larger polished pieces for others without being able to monetize them. I know that probably makes me sound awful, but as a professional artist, I truly believe it devalues not only what I do, but what other artists do as well. I don't want to contribute to the attitude that art isn't a serious enterprise. I draw fetish art because I love TF, but my time is valuable, and my fetish art usually has to take a backseat to the other work I produce for a living. This is especially true if I can't get some sort of personal reward out of it. I simply don't have the luxury of allowing something that doesn't provide me with income to monopolize all my time. That said... I'm still possibly open to the idea of taking smaller sketch requests down the road at some point, so long as they aren't going to be too much of a burden.
At the moment, the only arrangement I can think of that truly works for me is art trades. I am absolutely open to those, because I always love getting new art, and at least I would be receiving something in exchange for my work. ^^ But I realize that's not entirely fair to my watchers who aren't artists, which is also why I'm considering taking small sketch requests.
But... perhaps I'm getting ahead of myself here. One of the reasons I'm posting this journal in the first place is because I'd like to gauge the level of interest in my artwork. I've been getting a lot of watches and favorites, which is definitely a positive sign... but I'm not seeing quite as many comments. I'd really like feedback here. If I were somehow able to find a way to offer commissions, or if I offered to accept sketch requests and art trades, would anybody be interested?

Would you consider doing a trade for a story? I definitely like your artwork; the stuff I like the most is animal and inanimate stuff though I think that's just personal preference. Was there particular feedback you were looking for?

Thanks for the kind words! In this case, the feedback I was looking for was just whether there was adequate interest in my art to justify offering commissions, requests or trades in some form. As for your other question... yes, I would consider trades for stories as well, for anybody who might be a writer instead of a visual artist.

If you want to receive payment while remaining anonymous then cryptocurrency is the most logical solution that comes to mind. However that brings on a whole new wave of issues because of the volatility of crypto and the overall sketchiness surrounding it would only allow you to work with a small amount of clients.

Yes, I briefly considered that as well, and ruled it out for exactly the reasons you mention. It's just not viable as an option for me because of the reputation it has for implying illicit behavior. Nothing about my fetish art is actually illicit-- I just would prefer to be able to protect my privacy.
