Another update + Upcoming comic project!

Howdy!
Thought I'd give a quick update on how things are going with me.
Things have been quite topsy turvy for me.
The design course has been going extremely well. I've been getting really good marks so far, which I've been mostly surprised about. But I'm being very positive about all of it, and I'm actually having fun. There's even a couple of assignments that I'm currently working on that I'm able to show off my drawing expertise.
At home however is where things make it all topsy turvy. I've had to deal with my best friend and housemate being somewhat suicidal for the last month due to various incidents. It's not really great when you have to keep someone in constant check, in case something no so good is being attempted. It has been getting better, but he still has is moments. But I'm very positive he'll pull through this, as he's been trying to already.
Next week I'll be heading off to FurDU. As mentioned before, this is my first con outside of Confurgence. I really only know a couple of people who are attending, as I don't really have many friends in the community here in Australia. I'll try to enjoy the con, but to be honest I'm probably gonna spent a fair bit of my time just chilling in my hotel room. Hopefully it'll be a good experience.
Last thing I wanted to talk about, is a major comic project I have lined up. I haven't made any comics for a good 5 years now. I had a big hiatus on doing any of them, because I didn't like how long they took to do them and it drove me crazy. But I think it's time to push those boundaries and try something different for once. I already have a few pages sketched up, and I've jotted down the plot for most of the first chapter.
This will be a long-term comic, so this will be more than one chapter. It all depends on how long it takes to get through it all.
I can't promise you that my plot-writing skills aren't gonna be fantastic to the public eye, but I be delivering it in the best way that I can. It will all be a learning curve to me.
