Feedback Round-up

Bassy here! Have you got a few minutes? If so, I would like to welcome you to a little round of feedback about my artwork!
Once in a while I make journals asking people what they think of my work, but this time I wanted to try something a bit different by offering a small group of questions. Please answer them truthfully. Your opinions about my artwork are very helpful and always appreciated!
1. In a technical sense, what would you say are the biggest strengths of my artwork? (Technique, character anatomy, use of color, etc.)
2. Likewise, what would you say are my weaknesses and/or most common mistakes?
3. Do you think I should stick to how I do things now or that I should be more experimental now and then? If so, what do you think I could experiment with?
4. What's your favorite thing about my artwork? (IE style, subject matter, anything you can think of)
5. Likewise, what is your least favorite thing about my artwork?
If you have any other comments about my work that aren't covered in those questions, feel free to share them. I'd be happy to read them!

2. Personally, I feel as though your shading can sometimes feel a little... too dark, I guess? But that just might be a personal preference I have for softer tones and such.
3. It never hurts to experiment! That's how people improve or evolve their content. I'd be totally content for you to keep doing what you're doing, but I'm also one to always encourage trying out new stuff too. If I were to suggest anything, it'd probably be to try doing even more different types of bodies and such. Either that, or drawing content from series you haven't done much with yet!
4. I love most of your subject matter, honestly. I love lizards, frogs, and birds, and those are some of your most common subjects! I'm also big on incest, nudity, and partner-swapping, which are also things you draw quite often.
5. If I had to pick anything, it'd probably be the times you draw futa/herm stuff. I've never liked that kind of content at all. But, again, that's just personal preference. (Alternatively, I could say my least favorite thing about your art is that I can't commission more of it from you anymore! lol)
2) The only thing I could really think about when looking through your gallery is the slightly chubbier bellies that kinda...fall out of the flow? Not sure if that explains it as well.
3)Definitelly stick to what you do, but some experimenting can't be bad either. Would encourage you. From personal experience I can say it can do a lot.
4)As said above, the way you draw characters in first place, but the whole pack really works together.
5)Those bellies I think? Also not a friend of shemales, but oh well. Definitelly couldn't say there is anything where I say though I really dislike.
Definitelly I enjoy your art. Your 101 dalmatians fanart really is a great addition to what else one would find there, especially noteable I think since it's anthro art of feral characters. But enjoyed your content before that already :3
Hope that helps. Really hard to think about critics at that level. Just enjoying your content :D
1. Definitely your poses are your biggest strength! They are always very creative, lively, and make images interesting, even if it's just a character standing there. Expressions tie in well with this too. Second to these would be your way of emulating the styles of the fan art you create while making it your style at the same time, if that makes sense? I know a piece is from you, but you still include the style of the origins in there (especially with 101 Dalmation Street works) which creates a nice mix.
2. The biggest weakness might be anatomy. Overall your anatomy is convincing, but I see consistent errors or "off-spots", which I can pin point often. The big ones are your chests (usually with males) often are detached from the arms/shoulders. If a character is raising up their arms, for example, their chest should move with it, but usually you treat them as separate entities which makes character seem "action figure" like. Then the way you draw chubby female bellies kind of bothers me? They don't seem like natural fat deposits, but rather just lines drawn to indicate the pouch there. Those are the two main issues I see regularly and can provide examples if you'd like (or provide redlines) :) I feel once you notice the errors, you'll fix them in all future pieces, because they aren't too difficult!
3. I rather like what you do now, as it's always varied and fun to look at! In fact, I think you experiment a lot as is, which is great! I did like your recent traditional pieces, so if anything maybe try that again!
4. Absolutely your overall style is my favorite thing, it BLEEDS of YOU! I can tell your art from a thumbnail alone, which is really striking! I think the rendering plays a lot into that. You have a very distinct rendering style, and how you draw faces as well!
5. Least favorite is just the anatomy mistakes I mentioned in 2. And that's only cause they are so consistent. It doesn't ruin your work at all, but it does stick out to me.
Always look forward to seeing your stuff
2: weakness shading and lighting seems too dark or too bright a lot of the time (main reason I used to get flats only) its gotten better over the years but still could be better
3: experimentation can be good but you do you
4: birds are my fav thing especially rio you draw the best anthro versions in my book
5: the amount of frogs and futas not my fav thing but frogs are meh to me and futas disgusts me
1. I'm going to sound like a massive suck-up, but I like just about everything you draw, I really love your cartoonish style! Especially the futas/herms. Plus you've always drawn my nagas/mermaids really well!
2. Nothing I can really think of, the only thing that I would mention is purely preferential. So I'll leave that out.
3. Well, I think you're doing fine as you are now. Either way, I don't mind.
4. I mostly focus my attention towards your Windborn comic, I pretty much check in every Wednesday/Saturday for any updates. I like anything with birds, since I've always had a soft spot for cartoon birds.
5. A few things. I would love to see more personal works, such as drawings for your OCs or Windborn related. Most of anything not related to your personal work, honestly, feels very generic. There's a lot of generic furry art that doesn't personally catch my attention. I'd personally love to see more boundaries being pushed. Something unique and fresh. Also, DON'T ever stop drawing Futas/Herms, no matter what anyone says!
