Untying the Knot

Hey everyone. Bassy here, with a big announcement, and a difficult one to make at that. This may very well be the last journal I post in this account, or if not one of the very last at least.
You may have noticed the new avatar of this account, as well as the latest image that was uploaded. If you follow me on SoFurry and Twitter you may have noticed a slight rebrand of my pages. There's a good reason for that, and as per usual, I'm gonna be direct about what that is.
After months of dealing with a lot of difficulties in our relationship, Wolfeh and I have decided to end our marriage and our status as a couple. For that reason, I will be starting a new FA account, while this one which used to be shared by the both of us will now go inactive.
This announcement might come out of a left field for a lot of you and I can imagine all the questions you might be having about this, so I’m going to try and clarify a few things in hopes to dispell any possible doubts:
-Our decision to end our marriage was done in a civil way and we have no ill will to one another. We had a lot of talks about this and it is not a choice we're taking lightly.
-Switching to an entirely different account might seem too much, but there's a lot of personal reasons behind this decision. On top of that, because usernames cannot be changed in FA due to the way the site is structured, it doesn't feel right to keep using an account that shares our usernames when we're no longer a couple.
-All that said, this account will NOT be deleted and all of its images will remain posted and unaffacted. I'll keep this old account as an archive for me and Wolfeh's works from the last seven years.
-All my other accounts, including Bassworks, my SoFurry and Twitter pages will be completely unaffected and will remain active. As will Wolfeh's own Twitter account.
-Likewise, all work on Winbdorn will continue as normal with next to changes at all, including the "Avia After Dark" patreon.
Understand that because this is a delicate situation, neither Wolfeh nor I will be open to answering any questions about our separation. We hope that you respect our privacy on this matter and accept our decision to no longer be a couple.

We are all going to miss her.
It's a big change and unfortunate, but I hope you two will do alright! A lot of people divorce, it happens! So I'm sure you two will be alright if you ever pursue other things later. I just had a big breakup a bit ago too, nothing as serious as a divorce, but it's no fun, and it's nice to hear you two can still be friends after. (: I love the art made here, and if a second FA account gets made, let us know, happy to follow you both. Best wishes!
But it's been so long and you guys did a lot of things that both you enjoyed.
I really wish for the best for both of you. I'm just very sorry the happening, but it's alright.
