Minor Update on Lack of Activity

What's up, Amigos!
I know, I know, it's been a little while since there's been much activity around here and some people might be thinking I'm slipping again into a long unannounced hiatus! But that's not happening. Sure I posted one or two new Sonic works in the past few weeks, but I'm not as active as i had planned.
Simply put I'm struggling with a lot of self doubt and motivation at the moment. Maybe you could call it a crises of talent. I dunno, best i can describe it. I have three main forms of art at the moment. My Sonic art, some Anthro art, and usual anime/other art. But I'm struggling.
I'm happy with how my Sonic art has been turning out lately, I've settled down with that style and while I could make a few tweaks here or there I'm happy with the final products.
Any anthro or anime/other art however, not so much. I'm trying to work with various art styles, colouring techniques, and brushes, but nothing I do ever looks like or meets what I envision, and it is ever increasingly infuriating and making me feel like Sonic is all I ever can or will do.
For example, I have a wonderful Darling In The FranXX picture in the works ( https://www.deviantart.com/users/ou.....04649118740481 ) and I'm perfectly happy with the sketch, but the colour rendering is driving me nuts. I thought of trying a semi realistic approach with the colour while still maintaining a form of lined/inked/pencilled art still, a mishmash between the two, but the more I try the more I hate my attempts at colour despite being able to visualise it.
So yes, that's where I stand at the moment. I'm infuriated with my own work and failure to make anything work the way I want it to. Which is of course holding up my graphic novel project of which I've been compiling a lot of research for lately.
So sorry about all that. I'm still around and still making art, but I am kinda stuck in a limbo at the moment. Hope you all stick around for more in future in anycase.
