MANY THANKS to those who helped me out in my time of financial panic! We were able to get some groceries, I got paid today, and the mini-crisis is over!!
Unless or until my income improves far above what it currently is, or I am sponsored to a con, my convention days are over.
I simply cannot afford to travel to cons outside of my area any more.
And unless I can overcome the art block that has strangled my creativity for years, I am unlikely to start producing enough art to interest the fandom enough to sponsor me.
Thanks! It was stressful all right, imagine being out on the road in my job and knowing there's some money in the bank, and not wanting to invest in even a bottle of water or a cup of coffee.
I can stop looking for a virgin to sacrifice.
Its California.
I wasn't having much luck.

Thanks man. No sense in importing one just for that.
Oh HEY! Steve Gallacci is GoH at Anthrocon this year, any chance of seeing you? I miss you, brother!

Kind of screwed that way, unfortunately.

I have plenty of ideas.
Its that, most of the time, drawing isn't much fun for me anymore.
And when I sit down to draw, I usually just go blank.
I need to find something to get my interest back.
Back in the fanzine days, it was easy to find inspiration and enthusiasm...
These days, I have trouble finding both.
