Hi there, we just wanted to let the Bronycon vendors that we emailed know that we apologize for the message we sent. Our hope was to find new business partnerships, but we went about it in the wrong way.
The email addresses we used were collected at a previous Bronycon by picking up business cards and talking to vendors there about partnership ideas. Our assumption was that this information given to us by the vendors was intended to be used for businesses to contact one another, but we learned that some vendors would have preferred we did not. We apologize for our actions. It was not our intention to cause frustration or upset. Our intention was to give our fellow vendors the opportunity to sell some of their back stock they might not want to keep in storage - clearly this wasn't as much of a win-win as we had hoped.
It is always our goal to build up trust and friendship in the communities we participate in, and we will do our best to do better in the future.
