My dad is dying. Help me please. [No longer needed]

Edit: On the phone with Delta. Just MY ticket alone is 720USD. It's going to end up around 1400 for both. FUCK. I need help..
Guys, I just found out my dad is unresponsive. Massive brain bleeding from complications from a surgery after a stroke last week. During surgery, he had a heart attack and another massive stroke. Doctor says he will not last the month, there's nothing that can be done and he has a DNR. Somehow, I need to get me and my mom up to Wisconsin or I will never forgive myself. As it stands, I do not have the money for a plane ticket for she and I.
I beg you, please help me. I am desperate. My dad and I did not have the best relationship but I couldn't forgive myself if I wasn't there.

Last minute, the tickets will be about 250-300 each so to be safe, I will need about 600-700USD. And hopefully we can stay with a friend in town so hotel won't be an issue if that works out.
I hate to ask, but this month hasn't been easy.
Edit: Flights are actually apparently 425 each with Delta for bereavement since we now have no idea when we'll be leaving once we get there. Funeral services are done usually within 3 days I'm told. We are still short but bless you and thank you so much for your help. I am eternally grateful. So that will be over 800 just for tickets. Thank you all so much for your help so far.

Even when they seem unresponsive, they are very much aware of us around them.
Unfortunately I can't send anything right now... having just returned from over the country and such,
but if you need money LATER for unseen expenses, or the return ticket prices if (here) doesn't make enough for the time needed to leave, you
should post another journal in a week or two. Maybe by then I could send some support funds your way, and maybe others would as well if they can't right now?

if it helps any, you may be able to shave a few bucks off your flight if you fly into appleton or oshkosh (if oshkosh is taking flights from your location, appleton does) appleton's about thirtyish minutes from green bay if that's your location, i wish i could give more than best wishes, i hope you reach your target goal

I can’t offer to help you with funds but I can give you a bit of advice
If you are not already use the app “Priceline” it helps you find the cheapest flights possible for whenever you need. I’ve used it and I have had round trips for $300-$400. I hope I could at least help a bit. Best of luck to you!!

I don't know entirely how it works, but I live near MKE and my dad is a manager for skywest airlines and can sometimes find really cheap seats so I can ask him to look into that. Regardless, I can and will donate a bit sometime tomorrow. Again, I am so sorry. Wishing you the best of luck.

But they say its cheaper fly on wensday, or someting? but lotsa strenght for you guys and hang in there! ;3;

Is it possible you would be able to stay in his home while there? Under the circumstances, I don't think he would object if able. Another idea is to contact your bank/credit union about a short (year) term loan for any remaining money needed. They may be able to help.
In the mean time if someone could hold the phone up to his ear, hearing your and your mother's voice might give comfort. Its been said that hearing is among the last of the senses to go.

I hope I'm not sounding like a broken record, but have you checked with Southwest?
They're usually one of the cheapest airlines if you're flying within the US, they also allow two free checked bags since every little bit can help.
Barring that: did you make it, at least, for a last goodbye?
2 days have passed, i hoped you were enabled (via donations) to do something.
But 1400 is a lot, and 2 days of silence is a lot too (though it could be for good reasons, once again, hope is the last to die) i doubt you were able to, still... let us know if you made it.
