Well, I'm depressed because we had to kill our cat rescued from Hurricane Katrina.
He recently went diabetic, then his sugar crashed when I was late with his insulin.
He convulsed, so we took him to the vet, but he convulsed after they gave him glucose.
The operation to restart his pancreas would have cost a few thousand US dollars, with
no guarantee he'd get better.
