Destiny Reflection: Raid Summaries in 10 Words or Less
6 years ago
To any Destiny players, I thought I'd try something to see what people's thoughts were about the raids as they went on. I do love me some raiding in destiny 1 and 2 and so i'm going to share with you my thoughts for each raid and then how I'd rank them from top to bottom. If you add a comment to this about this, follow what I did. X3
Okay so...
My Summary of Each Destiny Raid in Ten Words or Less
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Vault of Glass(Destiny, Year 1): My first raid; balanced exploration with theme, simplicity and challenge.
Crota's End(Destiny, Year 1): Pleasantly short but challenging; took raid mechanics up a notch.
King's Fall(Destiny, Year 2): Never finished; plagued by obnoxious platforming that padded things out.
Wrath of the Machine(Destiny, Year 3): Slightly better than King's Fall plus a ridiculous boss encounter.
Leviathan(Destiny 2, Year 1): Great replay value; the only raid to ever shake things up.
Eater of Worlds(Destiny 2, Year 1): It's okay; Subpar loot and mechanics are hard to follow.
Spire of Stars(Destiny 2, Year 1): Absolutely terrible; mechanics overcomplicate what should be simple and fun.
Last Wish(Destiny 2, Year 2): Better than King's Fall; too linear and way too long.
Scourge of the Past(Destiny 2, Year 2): It's all right; A bit too fast-paced at times.
Crown of Sorrow(Destiny 2, Year 2): Much much better than past four; blends simplicity with challenge.
