The Special Olympics Area swim meet was today and it was good, though I had a hard time getting out of the pool after my first event. I got three blue ribbons.
I could've used a dip in the pool on Friday. It was so ridiculously hot and humid that I was sweating like crazy while waiting for the bus to go home that evening!
Oh, and by the way, congratulations on your ribbons...and I love you! =3
I struggled getting out of the pool as there was no railing. I ended up waiting till the last person was done, the other people were already out and it was just me and her, before I tried again as it was taking me a while. She went to the other side of the pool to get out as that had railing. It took two people to get me out and it almost looked like I was going to pull them in with how hard I was pulling on them. One of the coaches tried at first, but couldn't get me out by himself, and it looked like I was going to pull him in, then someone else helped. Mom said I did everyone a favor as the railing was put in after I was out, making the last two events a lot easier with getting out. Getting out was harder than my first event.
Heh... thank you, and I love you, too!
