Yes, it is 524 Timeout.

I'm guessing the server is taking so long to respond to the upload (my speculation is thumbnail generation is broken after trying several pictures of different resolutions) that Cloudflare just terminates the session before it completes.

That's exactly what someone else was having: 524 Server Timeout errors. At some point it started working again, if I remember what I saw in that journal right, within 3 hours of the journal being posted, so it might start working again around 2 AM Eastern Daylight Time (Yeah, I'm a 'MURICAN!)

It was down a while ago. Might have something to do with their "unidentified issue in software" I read about briefly. Dunno if that specific issue was resolved or not though.

Going to delay and try posting again during the peak period and see if it pops up again. I sure hope this isn't going to be a lasting problem!

Had the same issue going back around a week now.

Ooof, I only submit infrequently so I didn't bump into this problem until just now. I hope they get down to the bottom of this soon.
