Find an idea you like and just write. Doesn’t matter whether it is good or not, as long as you try. Use anything for inspiration, whether that be music, art, other stories, ect. I find reading other works of the characters I like the most gives me ideas.

Make it a habit to write 15 minutes a day. Some days this will often enough translate to wanting to write more. Starting is the hardest part. And I mean actually write, not stare at a vlabk blank page.

Is it a lack of ideas? Or time? Or motivation? IMO the best thing to do is to set aside some time to think about what you want. My job gives me a lot of time to plan things out, like what would be cool to write about or when I’m going to write about it at home.

Take time everyday to write; it can be about anything as long as you write. After awhile make yourself write just abit more everyday and see how that goes.

Write the DUMBEST story you can think of. I'm talking no contact with external logic whatsoever. Something like the story of the blue ant who tapdanced across the Nile River on a rainbow bridge. It is totally important that this story is incredibly stupid, beyond redemption in any way. It's usually pretty easy to make words that have no bearing on reality, so this should at least help you write SOMETHING. You can look at it and go "I had no expectations, and by golly I surpassed literal zero. I did a thing."
Then, write something more coherent. Again, low bar to jump over. Maybe it's a story you wanted to work but couldn't get it perfect. Fortunately, you don't need perfect, just better than before. Cheat your brain into thinking it's improving. And then you're writing!

Alternatively, write some short poetry (smaller, and limitations mean perfection is obviously not an option, plus it's fun to read it back at speed). Oh, or smut. Lewd things are great motivators, I've found.
