I've started working part time at my brother's upholstery business, so I haven't had as much time for commissions as I was hoping. So the situation is that I don't think I have any more space for commissions in August given my current backlog. I understand if you don't like the idea of ordering super far in advance, but if anybody is willing to order a commission for September right now, I'd would be happy to take it. It would help me a lot.

If you currently have a commission from me, I working to get the ones remaining from the last calendar done in the next three days, and anything that isn't currently on the commission calendar done by the end of August. My apologies, but hopefully, if I can stabilize my finances with this part time job and maybe a few patient commissioners, I can finally spend the time to catch up to my commission list.

I'm going to change my commission methodology going forward. I've used the specific completion dates as both a reason to dawdle and an excuse to over-book. So for any new commissions I get for September, I am only going to schedule one drawing per day. Hopefully, if I catch up over the course of August, one drawing a day will be enough to keep my bills paid without being too much for me to keep up with.
