What is a generic male/female look??

So I am starting and going through my concept ideas. Working about 3-4 of what will keep me busy through the fall/winter season.
One concept that has been around with me since coming out & meeting other men. Is the dating/friendship/romance of meeting them.
From gay novels, anime, shows, movies. When I was young. To now comics, websites, apps, and visual novels. It's all about the drama of dating someone else and the dangers of the wandering eyes.
So the story I am going to write/draw, will have some bits and pieces of what I went through trying to meet and date men I felt attractive too.
But the one thing I always felt when I was younger. That I wasn't what you called the "cute, handsome, petty," guy that would turn guys heads when you walk into place where other gay men meet to pick up someone.
I was what you called just average (generic) in the look department.
So that is the base of the story I am going to write about. How does a guy with a generic looks get the attention of hot furry men?.
Will be posting concept drawings here and other sites to get opinions on the characters design works. But the final work and story will be on my Patreon page.
So what do you think about someone who's looks just disappears in a crowd. And you just can't place the face you've met the other day?
(SORRY... WHAT I WAS SAYING & ASKING.. HOW DO I OR CAN I DRAW PERSON THAT HAS A LOOK THAT IS SO GENERIC THAT PEOPLE WOULDN'T GIVE HIM A SECOND LOOK. AND IS FORGETTABLE.

If there was any attraction from a first meeting, it would come from shared interests, and guys prefer taking it slow before going into a full-blown relationship.
That's just my observation from the relationships that work. ^^
I like working out in real life, and it's nice having a partner who works out with me and does other fun things.
A guy with generic looks getting hot guys? You won't believe how many hot guys believe that they also look generic. :P
It's something about the mix of interests and face-type that brings guys together.
He wouldn't stand out of a crowd. Not that popular, maybe a loner. People couldn't place a name on him or where they met. A conversation with someone not seeing them, but rushing through/by to be somewhere else.
This person has potential, but people won't see it or give him the opportunity to show it.
Drawing the main character so that no one can quickly but a label on him as first judgment on who he is.
This would be a tough to show in the beginning of the chapters.
