Once upon a time a fool man who wanted to get the power of the Universe opened the Book of the Gate and released the beasts locked there. Spirits of Chaos flew throughout the Universe and began to destroy everything around.
But those who could stop them also escaped from the Book. Guardians of harmony called Guardinals. They caught the Spirits of Chaos. Every Guardinal who caught the Spirit sealed it in himself. As long as this bond is unbreakable, the fight between Good and Evil continues inside the Guardinals.
You heard the legend. So… Let me tell something about real Guardinals.
Guardinals. I guess you want to know what they protect. Well, Guardinal are the Gate-keepers*. Each Guardinal tied to their Gate within the star system of the World Heart*.
What are the Chaoses (spirits of Chaos)? Chaoses were born from the entropy of the universe, which is generated by the misuse of Harmonic energy*, and since then Chaoses have fed on entropy in its star system, merging with the Guardinals. This the way one harmony is maintained.
Ok. What's the book?
The Guardinals and Chaoses are closed in the Books of the Gate till intelligent beings, who can learn to use Harmonic energy, are appearing. The Guardinal are also mentors for creatures who learn to use the energy of the World Heart from the Book. They teach residents how to understand entries in the Book. The book is a single "manual", written by the unknown for young civilizations. However, also nobody knows who built the Gates and created (tamed?) the Guardinals.
There is one planet, whose inhabitants destroyed out of unknowingly the Guardinal and his Chaos, and then had tried to decipher the contents in the Book of the Gate through trial and error. But without the most important information about the principle of sustainable energy use, which could be received only from the Guardinal, the creatures brought their world to destruction. Entropy destroyed everything on the planet; only the temple of the World Heart was survived (but that's another story).
