It seems Youtube's Administraitors have decided to selectively enforce their copyright rules.
They suddenly decided to stop allowing me to dispute copyrights in my movies (which is a breach of contract on their end), and slap me with "Copyright Strikes".

Get three, and your account is erased --- and they slapped me with all three in a 24-hour timespan.
(In fact, they even chewed me out for videos whose copyrights I had ALREADY successfully disputed!)

They snubbed me every time I E-mailed Youtube's Admin to remind them about the US Copyright Code's "Fair Use Doctrine", and that under their OWN TOS my videos were all Fair Use.

I've E-mailed them since as well. They haven't replied.

Their rules imply that "what the Copyright Code says, goes", but lo and behold, using a copyrighted audio track in a video created to criticize the US military for the purpose of public discourse (which Section 107, Part 1 the Copyright Code defines as "Fair Use") gets you in trouble.
Nevermind that the Law permits it, or that the TOS says it's OK --- big money trumps freedom of speech!

So, I no longer have a Youtube channel... or 110 subscribers... or 10000 channel views... or 95 uploaded videos... or a voice on the No.1 Vlogging site on the Internet.
All for the want of greed, CYA, and Moral Cowardice.

That said, can anyone here recommend a new Vlogging site?

well after the multi millions law siut that prince pulled on them for some women video taping her kid dancing to his music on the radio.... they went a bit nuts.

The case involved Stephanie Lenz, a writer and editor from Gallitzin, Pennsylvania, who made a home video of her 13-month-old son dancing to Prince's song Let's Go Crazy and posted the 29-second video on YouTube. Four months later, Universal Music, the owner of the copyright to the song, ordered YouTube to remove the video enforcing the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. Lenz notified YouTube immediately that her video was within the scope of fair use, and demanded that it be restored. YouTube complied after six weeks, as required by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, to see whether Universal planned to sue Lenz for infringement. Lenz then sued Universal Music in California for her legal costs, claiming the music company had acted in bad faith by ordering removal of a video that represented fair-use of the song.[20]
Beginning in December 2008, various music labels (Primarily Universal Music Group and Warner Music Group) have continuously removed YouTube videos featuring their songs in a long list of copyright complaints.

lol you know I could see starting a new type of you tube. you have to pay to watch or check videos. get a lot of sponsors and hackers on. then label donations box "legal costs" and wait for the media frenzy. this place is for the "free exchange of ideas and information" things like news clips would be the first thing left alone. why news and videos that are news worthy are fairly important for a growing world.

That's an interesting idea, but I lack the necessary skills, resources, and money to create a Vlogging site.

I do have the means by which to start my own website, though...

Sorry, can't help you with an alternative for vlogging, BUT:
if you just need some music I'd recommend you use stuff published under the Creative-Commons licence. All you'd have to do then is to give the musicians proper credit by mentioning them in the infobox to your vid, and the YT admins will be the whiners (just like the Stryker apologists ).
I got an account at Jamendo.com, the biggest site hosting free music under CC in the world. Just look at my profile for more information - and feel free to listen to a few of my playlists. ^_~

Thanks, but the driving element of my documentaries are the visuals --- nothing has as much impact as the image of a shattered Stryker;

Why not? Have you tried to check out what's available out there? You got every flavor you need, it shouldn't be too hard to find something that matches.

keep fighting it
tell them you'll get a lawyer if they don't follow the LAW and sue them for it
you don't have to actually sue them, just tell them you will and prove you did nothing wrong and were perfectly legal and that they were the ones to do a breach in the contract

They've already told me that if I want to contest their ruling, I'm required to give-out personal information to the "offended" party, AND be prepared to go to court.
