Final Prep
It's crunch time, but I wanted to make another entry before my trip.
It has gotten really busy as of late, regarding this trip prep. I've spend a crazy amount of money buying things for this trip (and sending half of them back to Amazon). I think I pretty much have everything I need. I completed a huge checklist of things and sent to to the guys. The itinerary is don. All transportation, accommodations, and events have been booked. I even made a booklet of all the documentation. I may explode. :-/ My Japanese is no where near where it should be (nor is my weight), but I'll just have to wing it. I couldn't finish my Ita bag, so I will be leaving it here. I did start on a couple rice balls I will give to our hosts and will complete them on the plane via hand-sewing, so not all is lost. I also got my hair braided, so I won't have to worry about it for 3 months. Unfortunately, this means no suiting and no videos during that time, too. Oh well.
Outside of that, I'm still addicted to Kickstarter, though that has slowed a bit. I've been able to hang with some old friends, including my old tae kwon do instructors. It was a crazy coincidence that I visited the old school the same time they did! We had a bbq, which will feed me til I leave! :-D The only movie I've seen was Ready or Not (decent).
That's all for now. My next entry will be after Japan. have a great September!
