Car accident update

General
Just to let you all know, I’m somewhat OK just having a really bad case of mussel spasms and it is painful, the doctors gave me some meds for it and I have to do a follow up with my other doctor so that what happens with me physically.
Now for the car, Geico looked at it and told me it can’t be saved I'm better off getting another car rather than fixing it, so I went back to the dealership I got the car from and look for a new car that was stable for my needs.
And the one I got is brand new and I mean NEW it just came out two weeks ago it’s a 2020 model and they said I was the very first to get it, so that’s good it has everything I need, but the bad news is I’m back to making five years payments on a it.
So I’m doing fairly OK but I’m still going to miss a week of work which is kind of bad for me and all the other stuff I got to go through because of the accent but I’m still here.
And thank you everyone who wish me well I appreciate it.

getting a massage would be very helpful... there are plenty of places around to get a very relaxing massage and it will help lots!

Unfortunately my health insurance don't cover massage.

if you have a HSA it's covered under that, good way to spend that work money :)

Oh geez, did you already pay off your old car?
Yes three years ago that one had a five year payment, this new one is the same thing.

Geico didn't get to cover much of that?

Damn that sucks

Sorry I miss type Geico is going to give me a check based on the value of the damaged car so I can use that to do the first payments which will bring it down to just the five year payment

I didn't feel much on the day of that accident but the next day I had that painful spasms I was swearing all day at how much it hurts.

nods.. moved my house.. the contents.. as a monster i would just destroy it if i tried to move the house.. but i digress... the second day then the third were so bad.. back so tight and it sent shocking pains.. the sports massage doc got it loose and finally found what muscles were tight.. the spasms bruised the muscles. took a few more days to feel good but was out of pain just sore. was worth the shorter pain time in the end..

Glad it wasn't worse and that you'll recover! Does a long warm shower/bath help with the spasms at all? Alternately you could dull the pain with a cold-pack (even frozen vegetables work) and then relieve strain with heat. These are things that help me but you know your body and what will help it better than I. So I'll not ramble on with more suggestions.
