Slowly giving up on uploading here

⚡ 💗 ⚡ 💗 ⚡ 💗 ⚡ 💗 ⚡ 💗 ⚡ 💗 ⚡ The inconveniences of this crumbling website are becoming more and more noticeable with every screw up and "update" that doesn't actually change anything worthwhile. With the recent DDoS, I currently cannot use PostyBirb for easy uploading to FA as I can to all other sites I use.
Call me lazy, but the processes of using and uploading to this site is just not worth it. Twitter is becoming more popular of a site than this place which is another driving factor to my growing reluctance to keep bothering with FA as they slowly push away their own userbase.
I don't plan on wiping my gallery if I do stop uploading here. But if I do decide to give it up, if I bother with anything it'll probably be only uploading any stories/fanfics I write since I currently only have 3 uploading locations for those as opposed to the 5 locations I have for my art. Likewise, if I stop posting my art here, I have all of my works on InkBunny set to "allow guest" so anyone who doesn't have or want to make an account there can still view my content. There's also my Twitter and even my public Discord where all three of those locations are able to allow posting multiple images in one submission, which FA still doesn't allow.
Long story short, FA is still stuck in 2010 and it sucks.

which is the same thing FA does except this is an art gallery site, not a social media website
also, you can view the original size on twitter using jpg:orig instead of jpg:large, though i don't know how much compression remains even with that
As for the jpg:orig, that does work, yes. Though I don't think it removes compression. The compression isn't too bad either so I do give Twitter credit for that.
Also, you can work around FA's image compression by updating the submission file after you've posted/published it first.
If you're on your last legs with the site, have you tried the beta theme in settings? It at the least makes the site look not godawful.
