Empty Promises,that's all you give me
Then you ask me to forgive it
Empty Promises,that's what I get
Then you ask me to forget
You never seem to keep your word
You always seem to make me soar
You don't get how much it hurts me
You don't understand how much it pains me
I'm tired of all these Empty Promises
Words that are never kept true
I always forgive, but I never forget
I hope you know, you're losing my respect
If you keep it up, I might have enough
So value that you still got all my love

But Empty Promises are breaking us apart
