TMI Update ~ Comics Commissions YouTube and Stuff
6 years ago
General
Hello folks!
Recently I was in dire need of a time-out due to an entire bunch of very weird things happening around me AND the fact that I
worked six days a week for more than 8 hours per day in the past 1 1/2 months.
Aside from that though, I was able to make a lot of new sketches and improve my technique, so the newer commissions that I will tackle once I'm back will be of better quality.
Same applies for the LBT comic, which is still in the making and looking better than expected so far.
I also started to gather and note down information for a free-thinker/commentator style youtube video I want to make, because the furry-youtubers are creating a massively distorted image of this community to outsiders.
That is only one of the things I feel are worth addressing and could add to the overall conversation in case anyone actually sees it.
As of late, I feel like more people are pushing the label of "a popular artist" onto me, something I would never use to describe myself and refuse to just take.
However that doesn't negate the fact that I received different reactions in the younger past that require thicker skin from my side in order to be properly dealt with.
I am not used to do that and I hope I will be able to add a layer of professionalism to my attitude in this regard.
This is about it from me as of now ~ the status quo.
Please stay tuned for more content from me because I have A LOT under way!

Yeah I feel like certain high profile 'furs' are really not giving a very good name to the community as most already have a preconception when the word 'furry' comes up with regards to the community and members within it...not sure what can be done to help that though besides being a decent person and hopefully people will see that it's just another stereotype and not everyone is like that.
And I think I understand what you're saying. I love the fandom but I don't follow too much "furry youtubers" becasue eh... I don't even know how to describe it but definitely they are giving a distorted idea of the fandom. Instead I follow artist that make speedpaints or things like that
