Hey! Journal Time!
So I’ve got a bit of a story here, a user on Derpibooru used my mlp oc, Renai, in a comic they’re commissioning, to my surprise this comic is focused around Renai going to an mpreg clinic to unlearn her bigoted ways. I asked what the point was to it and I was told I’m a bigot for not drawing enough mpreg, as you can probably guess this was upsetting to me.
I’ve been drawing a couple of my characters since I was in middle school and about 5 years ago I decided to share them with the world via deviantart, I also started drawing birthing pictures on Derpibooru and about a year later I discovered Furaffinity. This was a big step for me because Stella and Laurel in particular are a reflection of me and my personality so by sharing them I was really putting myself out there, Furaffinity has been amazing and supportive of me and I can’t thank most of you enough.
That being said I need to get something off my chest and this has been on my mind for a while but now it’s getting to be too much to ignore. I draw for free, I’ve never asked for payment for a drawing and I don’t feel I’ve ever talked down to anyone about their interests or identity so I would appreciate if I could go more than a week without being told I’m a dick for not drawing a request fast enough, or called sexist for only drawing female characters in the majority of my drawings, or being told I’m a bigot for not drawing mpreg. I’m just a mediocre pencil artist who works too many hours for an unappreciative employer and does his best to care for my senile grandparents and I draw to release stress, so please don’t make this stressful for me.
I’m not saying I don’t want to hear from you guys, I love working on your requests and I love being part of this wonderful community, I just needed to get this out there. If you guys want to talk to me about requests, art, trucks, animals or whatever I’m always available here and my discord is Warrior9971#8984
Again, I don’t mean for this to be a deterrent from approaching me, it’s fine if you have questions about your request of what I’m willing to draw and why just so long as it’s respectful which hasn’t been a problem for most of you

I feel like it's perfectly reasonable for you to not like doing mpreg, half the time the birth pictures out there for mpreg just feel weird unless it's done with an intersex andromorph.

Keep doing you dude, and contact the artist doing the comic to tell them you didn’t authorize your character’s use in the comic. Character theft isn’t cool, even if it’s to “teach a lesson”

You do art requests for free, and yet these guys call you all those unnecessary names simply because you won't do mpreg? Man, forget those guys! I am not a fan of mpreg personally, and your female preg/birthing art is well done for a "mediocre pencil artist". You, as an artist, have the right to accept what you want to do and refuse what makes you uncomfortable! Like I said, forget those guys, they are the bigots in this case not you. If you ever need to seek support, you always have your friends at FA to fall back on! Keep up the amazing work!
