Hello everyone
I am back from yet another long break, and I guess the time had come for me to tell you guys what`s going on with me, cause it starts causing me problems as well as my customers.
The thing is that I have a bipolar affective disorderm som whevever I am being gone for a long time - that means the depression phase kicked in, and whenever I am starting drawing like 4-5 pieced a day - that`s for sure mania.
For years I`ve been unable to start treatment, so I just lived this way: was working hard during mania (that usualy lasts not more than a month), then depression kicked in and I was taking a rest for a few weeks to month till I get better enough to keep working, even if it`s pretty hard in this state, but at least possible already. Then new mania began, I finished my old commissions, took new ones and it started all over. And it wasn`t a big deal at firs, as I took pauses for a few weeks to month. But with every cycle maniacal phases were shorter, and depressive - longer and harder to endure.
I`ve ended up in a mental hospital after a 6-month-long depressive episode and Iam now being on treatment. Of coure, a disappearance that long worried my commissioners - I wasn`t ignoring them for the entire half of year, but was responding not more than once a month and doing progress reeeally slow.
I am now feeling relatively better, but my state is pretty far from stable at this point, so, to avoid vorrying my customers, I`ve decided to finally bring my situation to light.
So, what I wanted to say:
- If you are my customerm you paid for the commission, and I gave you a WIP but then disappeared for a month (it shouldn`t be happening since I`m taking meds now, and if it will - I will try REALLY HARD not to do so, but when I am depressed, not only I can`t work - I am expiriencing severe social anxiety, so I can not contact people and tell them what`s going on) - please do not worry, I will get back with your commission done or in-progress once I get better. I will never ever scam anyone: FurAffinity is my onlysource of income and I do not want to ruin my reputation by scamming people. i made some of my customers waiting for pretty long due to depression, but I never came back with empty hands.
- Therefor, as much as I don`t like losing an opportunity to earn - but I would advice you to pick another artist to commission is you need your work to be done in a short period of time. In normal state, I can complete a picture in ah hour-few days, and as I said, I shouldn`t be happening now when I`m on my meds, BUT there is still a possibility that I might take a break again. So if you can`t let yourself waiting for the picture for 1-1,5 month and you have pretty strict deadlines - I guess it`d be better for you to look for someone else.
It doesn`t mean the pictures will be always taking so long to wait for: I will be trying to work as fast as I can, Iam just saying that there is such a chance, and if it exists - it is my duty to tell my potential customers about it to not make them worry anymore.
Thanks you all for reading this, and thanks everyone who is still working with me even after I`ve been gone for a while.

I wish you all the best and hope you will do well! And remember, health before art! It’s better to make art slowly than ending up in a situation where you can’t do art at all.
Yep, that`s what I thought
Thanks to my customers I am now able to pay for the treatment so I hope I will get better soon, till there nill no more be those periods when I can`d do anything at all
