Last day on Graveyard Shift... 10-25-19

Why? Because I got a promotion!!
Monday I will start a week of training with my new boss for my new position on Day/2nd shift. Basically I will go around the plant, look for and fix any major issues with the inventory.
I'll admit I was turned down for this position at first, but the more senior person they originally offered it to turned it down for a team leader position. Apparently I was second in line, so they asked me if I was still interested.
Internally I am stressing out about it. More responsibility and a whole lot more technical stuff I need to learn now. On the other hand... hopefully more career opportunities will open up, more convenient hours, and the slight raise in pay doesn't hurt either!
I will miss most of my colleagues on Hot Stamp 3rd shift though, as well as all the exercise from lifting heavy metal every night.
