On Writer's Block and the Future
If you're reading this, you've probably noticed I've uploaded very few stories lately.
For several months now, I have had severe difficulty writing anything.
I've had little free time for writing lately, and when I have been able to write, I'm unable to find the right words.
This has meant I've been unable to complete any commissions or any personal projects, and have neglected my patreon.
I've tried a few things to try and kick-start my writing again, but they've only added to the shadow of unfinished work looming over me.
Unfortunately, I feel like the only way I can get back to writing again - and enjoy writing - is to take an indefinite break from writing.
To everyone who has been waiting on something from me: I am sorry.
What does this mean for now?
Over the next few days, I will be reaching out to everyone I owe something to.
If you've commissioned something, I would like to refund your money.
I'm going to wipe my entire to-do list clean.
I will be closing my Patreon, likely permanently.
Then, I will be taking a break from writing, or even thinking about writing. This might take a week, this might take months.
What does this mean for the future?
I'll likely begin with a few small personal projects, to get me back into the swing of things.
After that, I will likely be switching to a *requests/pay-what-you-want* basis.
I will be taking ideas that appeal to me, when I'm in the mood and have time to write them.
Hopefully, I'll also be running a lot more competitions and living stories.
**If I have had to cancel your commission, you get will get a priority pick.**
If anyone has any questions or thoughts, please feel free to contact me.
I'd like to add that I am extremely grateful to every single person who has supported me, directly or indirectly, enjoyed my stories, left a comment, or sent me a message. You are all what makes writing worth it.
Thank you.
