Alright, Project rules.
I have no name for this project, for those who want to give it some crazy name, its all you guys!
Now, as a note, this project is not to create amazing artwork in a year -- Its to increase the bar of quality I put of my doodles on -average-. So regardless of how poor I do with a single doodle, provided the average quality raises, then I will be happy.
As I've said, each day I will sit down and try to doodle something. That will begin when I finish doodling each person that commented in the last journal. Currently stuck on Eidolon... He's so f**kin' hard to draw, due to my inexperience drawing otters. When I am done drawing everyone there (three left), the next day will mark the beginning of this project.
Now, this project just isn't me going at it alone! I need your guys' support on this quite a lot. Its daunting, and with no aid, I could easily be doing something wrong and never notice it. So I ask that you point out what you feel is wrong with the doodles when I start, and guide me to tutorials you feel would help me in whatever subject I'm studying at the time. And most importantly, if you notice I'm doing something wrong in practice, point it out!
Generally, when I doodle something that day, that will be the intended subject to study for a week. So I am potentially going to cover about 52 subjects (or sub-subjects). They will include basic shapes, shading, perspectives, lines, figure drawing, sketching, inking, color, the color wheel (I feel like those two are distinctly different somehow...), portraits, and others. Once again, your support is not just optional, its almost mandatory. Should I fall into bad practice without realizing it, then this whole project will be for naught.
Lastly, I do intend to try out getting into digital media, or as I like to say, pretty porn art. But the lack of a tablet will force me to use a mouse. Since that is the case, expect a dip in quality if I do try using Gimp one day (I only have Gimp... its just as good as Photoshop, so I'm okay with it).
Other than that, please, any questions, ideas, etc.? I'm dying to listen, and learn, and practice, so I can become better!

Sorry about having such a hard-to-draw character though. :3
